These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blazescribe website at https://blazescribe.comand the Blazescribe application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Blazescribe ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Blazescribe provides AI-powered audio and video transcription, content generation, subtitle creation, and related services. Features include:

• Transcription of audio and video files with speaker detection and timestamps
• AI-generated content (blog posts, summaries, social media posts, and more)
• Subtitle and caption generation in multiple formats (SRT, VTT)
• Multi-language transcription and translation
• Team collaboration and sharing features

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately at support@blazescribe.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

Blazescribe offers a free tier with limited usage and paid subscription plans with expanded features. Plan details, pricing, and limits are described on our Pricing page and may change with notice.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends.

5. Your Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the audio, video, and other content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). You also own the transcripts, summaries, and other outputs generated from Your Content.

5.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to upload and process the content you submit
• Your Content does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights
• You have obtained any necessary consents from individuals whose voices appear in your recordings

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Record or transcribe conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written authorization

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate transcriptions, summaries, blog posts, and other content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it for critical decisions.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from factual errors, bias, or unintended interpretations. The Service is a tool to assist your workflow, not a replacement for human judgment.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Blazescribe and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

"Blazescribe" and our logo are trademarks of Blazescribe. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, payment processors). Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blazescribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blazescribe and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Blazescribe is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
